about

Seymour Loves Doris was created because I love the transformation that can take place in a space, home or commercial situation.

For me, interior design, styling and art all go together and this is how Seymour Loves Doris, came about. Both Seymour and Doris were names of my great grandmothers and they’re both middle names of my daughter and mother.

The scallop shell has many meanings, one is as a symbol of love and female strength.

It was used to indicate to weary travellers when hung on doors along the Camino trail that refuge could be sought within and another is because it’s in the family crest on my mothers side, originally from France.

Originally in the media industry, I have diploma’s in both broadcast communications and interior design.

If you have a question or request for interior design, styling or artworks, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I’d love to discuss your project, however large or small.
